The Fourth Annual ʻOkakopa Hoʻolauleʻa is a Hawaiian celebration of Oktoberfest amongst automobile enthusiasts. The Mercedes-Benz Club of America Hawaii Section produces the event with the help of other Hawaii car clubs. Local automobile dealerships, retailers and service providers also support and help stage this festival.
The primary purpose of ʻOkakopa Hoʻolauleʻa is to raise funds for local Hawaii public school programs. Our mission is to provide financial support to school projects that are “under the radar” and have difficulty obtaining funding from traditional sources. Our past beneficiaries have been Nanakuli High, Kahuku High, Aina Haina Elementary and Moanalua High schools.
Another purpose of this event is to provide Hawaii car clubs a platform to promote their respective organizations. The ʻOkakopa Hoʻolauleʻa is the largest car event of its kind in Hawaii and it is an excellent venue for auto clubs to showcase their programs, promote membership, and participation in auto club activities on the island.
This year’s event includes a car show with two judging classes, an inter-club competition, entertainment and Oktoberfest food and drink. Local automobile dealers, automotive vendors, car clubs and other organizations will have exhibits on the field. There will be demonstrations, prizes, giveaways and much more for all to enjoy!
